Become a member: Our foundational year 2024-2025

With 3 categories of membership, Agritourism Queensland is well placed to advocate for all parties involved in the agritourism value chain.

Which membership category is right for you?  Below is a snapshot. Download the membership prospectus to view the full suite of benefits for each category.

  • Primary Producer Membership
Farmers with established agritourism and/or artisanal businesses, or farmers looking to diversify with agritourism and/or artisanal business. Voting rights.
  • Agritourism Supporter Membership
Individuals, businesses and organisations that are suppliers to or supporters of agritourism and wish to be part of a network of agritourism, artisan on-farm producers and rural tourism operators. No voting rights.
  • Rural Tourism Business Membership
Those who support agritourism through rural tourism. We recognise the contribution that rural tourism businesses make to the local rural economy and community and AQ commits to supporting and engaging with these businesses. This membership is suited to those businesses who are not located on a working farm but are part of rural and regional tourism, who showcase local farm produce or contribute to the rural economy and community through rural accommodation, cafes, breweries, attractions etc. No voting rights.

As we grow over the first year of our operations, further benefits will be developed and refined for our members, and a tiered membership will be implemented for 1 July 2025 onward.
